Embracing the latent nature of materials; structures… colors… energy… Awakening the primal dance, nestled in the slumbering fragments of Earth’s edifice. The comparison of animism in materials with reanimation of the long dead resonates the pursuit of reconstruction of old traditions in contemporary surroundings. Bound with religious beliefs, and drawing inspiration from found relics and folk histories, manifesting within the use, and exploration of the arcane spirit of materials. Art that is worn carries on the person an allusion of what is adorned on them subjectively. The forgotten lifeforce of inert objects are thus reawakened and carried upon the body.
